7-Zip Create

Archive File

Enter a directory and file name for the archive you want to create. If the directory(s) does not exist it will be created.

Root directory

This the working directory for the 7zip executable. Once specified, you will only be able to archive files within this directory.

File Names / Patterns

Enter a list of files/patterns that you want archived. Files/Patterns entered here need to be relative to the Root directory.

Save archive as artifact

Once archiving is successful, the resulting archive file will be registered as an Artifact and moved to the root of the archive directory. You can later access it by using the query string $Workspace$\Artifacts\<nameofarchive_withfileextension>

Using

The default option is to use the 7zip property collector which will look in the directories the PATH environment variable has listed. Select custom if you don't wish to use the default 7zip path.

Path

Once custom is select you can enter the path to the 7zip executable you would like to use.

Options

The options tab has a list of options specific to the type of archive you want to create. Currently supported is zip, 7zip, gzip, bzip2 and tar.
